Lumiwings required an identity design as well as livery design for their first aircraft - a Boeing 737-300.
The logo and consequent applications attempt to deconstruct the impression one has when viewing the sunset (or sunrise) through the fuselage window. At the same time, a tribute to classic Greek icons such as the sun and the waves is paid.

2WO+1NE=2 is a new fashion design brand born in Athens in 2016 with an interesting concept. Each collection draws inspiration from a different city of the world in an obsessive manner. Outfits are named after streets and clothes after artefacts of the local culture maintaining the way of writing. Their debut collection is influenced by København.
For such a non-conventional brand, we approached it in a non-typical fashion. All the identity is based on a single typeset (F Grotesk) in a single weight with an emphasis to math symbols and other glyphs. No icons, no hero imagery, no logo. The website is built around an abstract map environment where future collection will reside.

CLIENT Inner Ear Records

"A Distant Victory" is a 7" singles club launched by Inner Ear Records in order to celebrate the label's 10th anniversary. It features 12 singles by 12 artists from the label's roster each of them shipping monthly to the subscribers.
In order to create 12 unique covers while maintaining the project identity and keeping the costs down, we proposed a special printing process. By repositioning 4 offset plates every 100 passes we managed to produce 12 similar yet different covers out of 4 inks and one printing job. A special box was designed for the 12 records.

d.Mod is a new creative organism in the fields of design and object manufacturing. An ambitious enterpreneur and an experienced set designer joined forces to create a stunning collection of lighting fixtures and furniture with a modular philosophy and a custom approach.
Roleplay were hired to set up a visual language to match the dual identity of d.Mod and build a functional yet elegant e-shop as well as many other applications to follow.

Orama Minimal Frames is a new aluminium windows system entering a high-end competitive international market with the advantage of 20-year experience in the field and lower manufacturing cost.
We were assigned to create and help build a strong all-round brand identity that is applied in showroom and exhibition spaces, catalogue and brochure prints as well as various digital media and apps. The more the firm is joined by international partners the more our involvement is becoming substantial and intense.

Corfiot cuisine is an ambitious attempt by former information analyst and current owner and chef at Ambelonas Corfu to rejuvenate our interest in the origins of traditional Corfiot cuisine through the prism of modern nutrition values. Available in Greek and English by Patakis Editions.

DAIAD is an ongoing program about democratising water metering using bluetooth equipped shower meters and web & mobile applications.
When asked to design the project leaflet we put ourselves the challenge to create a literally transparent book. Our goal was to convert the leaflet's typical flipping into a diving into water data experience.
The DAIAD app (view in AppStore) offers direct insights for personal water consumption, tips and alerts on optimal water usage as well as tools to improve consumption rates such as shower timers and daily goals.
The DAIAD video contains original footage shot in Alicante, Spain and Athens, Greece.

Six D.O.G.S is the core of the Athenian hip scene, a multidimensional space hosting the best of local and international indie, techno and experimental bands and DJs as well as cutting-edge art exhibitions and group shows. Over 1000 artists have been presented in the last 4 years. Six D.O.G.S provides space and time to Athens at its most vibrant and creative.
The challenge was to interconnect the existing and forever increasing data of artists, events and spaces in order to create an intuitive browsing machine throughout the history of the venue. We created an HD all-device web app for the ones who rapidly want the news as well as for the ones willing to get lost.

Everymatic is a Greco-scottish initiative devoted to design tailor-made holidays for British families, groups or individuals in Greece. The team's background in the music industry and touring management assures those modern Ulisseses will be treated as rock stars.
Our mission was to create a strong identity that revisits the classic greek touristic iconography through illustrations and typography.

Exile is a multi-faceted organisation. As Exile Films, it is a cutting edge production company focusing on documentary. As Exile Room, it hosts numerous screenings, workshops and small festivals, most of which take place at their state-of-the-art facilities in downtown Athens.
We were asked to create a universal identity that could embrace both initiatives under a distinctive color code. We took advantage of the familiar iconography of the exit sign, turning EXIT into EXILE, given that cinema - whether you're making it or watching it - can feel like an exile but it may also be a way out.

CLIENT Municipality of Samothraki
ROLE Urban Design / Architecture
Kipi and Pachia Ammos are two remote yet popular beaches on the northern island of Samothraki. The local municipality decided to take control over the interventions made on these locations to provide basic facilities without harming the natural surroundings. This double assignment offered us a busy winter designing for the summers to come.
“Kipi” is a 1.2 km long beach that wraps around a barren peninsula backed by tall mountains. The landscape is dominated by the mountain ridge profile, the meandering road, the tip of the peninsula and the distant horizon line.
Our contribution to this landscape is a long and linear construction that acts as a filtering zone between the parking area and the beach. The amenities are housed in a tapering volume that is sandwiched between two walls. The whole construction can be walked over as its two pointed tips dip into the ground to create ramps. When on top, the visitors can finally make sense of this vast stretching landscape.
The vast beach of “Pachia Ammos” is exposed to the sun without much vegetation or shading. It is also the end point of different streams that carry sediment from the mountains during the rainy seasons. As a result long scars on the terrain make some of its parts hard to access.
Our study of inserting public amenities on this landscape deals with restoring some human measure across these raw conditions. Our design is akin to acupuncture in that none of the structures comes in contact with the topography, they rather hover above it, supported on pillars.

Corfu-based Acordo specializes in natural gourmet products inspired by traditional recipes. Last spring they kicked off a limited edition extra virgin olive oil from Sparta, Southern Greece.
An oily handprint was stamped upon the bottle anticipating getting your hands dirty in the kitchen.

My Wet Calvin recorded “Happened Before” with 5 distinct music producers - 2 songs each – so the album was intended to be a collection of five 7” singles. Each record was connected to a different color, the 3 basics plus black and white. This palette gave way to a strict grid pattern that permeates the package.

In December 2009, My Wet Calvin put 1000 CD digipacks and 100 LP jackets onto Six D.O.G.S. project space walls, all blank with minimal black typography. After a couple of days, friends and passers-by helped spray paint the walls as a continuous canvas. The result was exhibited for 3 days and then was dismembered. Every copy has its own unique sleeve, still being part of a puzzle that can never be seen complete again.
